Dr. Fauzia Khan


Dr. Fauzia Khan was raised in Lake Bluff, IL.  She attended Lake Forest Country Day School and Lake Forest High School where she graduated in 1990. She completed her BA at the University of Chicago in 1994 and received her DDS at Northwestern University in 1999.

Professionally, since then Dr. Khan has primarily worked in private practices and community health centers. She has held faculty positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of California, San Francisco. Both positions were working with dental students either in community dental settings or on the clinic floor. 

During her years of practice, Dr. Khan has worked in various dental clinics that specialize in pediatric dental care, that include: The Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, The Children’s Clinic of Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society and the Zion Benton Childrens Dental Clinic. She has had the opportunity to share her pediatric expertise, her personal touch and her passion for dentistry with these communities.  These experiences coupled with years of working in private practice are the driving forces behind her motivation to open her own practice here in Lake Bluff. 

Dr. Khan believes in treating the entire patient and making each dental experience as comfortable as possible. She also believes in educating the patient about current dental trends as well as each patient’s unique dental condition. 

Dr. Khan currently resides in Lake Bluff, IL with her husband, Dr. Nejd Alsikafi, and their five children. She loves supporting the community and in her spare time enjoys playing tennis, reading, and traveling.

Elizabeth Ocampo

Dental Assistant / Office Coordinator


Elizabeth grew up in Gurnee, IL and is a graduate of Warren Township High School. She completed her Dental Assisting degree at Everest College in Skokie, IL in 2014 and is certified through the American Dental Association for sedation and coronal tooth polishing.

Elizabeth’s passion for dentistry is apparent in her excellent patient care. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient has the best dental experience. In choosing her career path she decided to overcome her own dental fears and enrolled in a dental assisting program to have an impact on others. Elizabeth has the tools and the knowledge to provide children as well as adults a positive experience. She will continue to further her dental knowledge through continuing education and hands on experience.

In her spare time she enjoys being a mother to her 8 year old son. She also loves being with her family, traveling and event planning. Elizabeth is also fluent in Spanish.
